Admission

Session: The school session is from 1st April to 31st March.

Registration:

A duly filled form available from the school’s cash counter is to be submitted with the non_ refundable, non-transferable REGISTATION fee within 7 days from the date of issue of form or the last date given. The following documents need to be submitted along with the Registration Form.

  • Copy of the Birth Certificate.
  • Copy of Report card of previous year (only needed for class 1 onwards)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REGISTRATION DOES NOT IN ANY WAY GUARANTEE ADMISSION

Form admission to Pre-nur-1 interaction procedure shall be followed. Entrance TEST shall be conducted for admission to Grade II onwards. The selection of the candidate will depend upon the child’s performance in the TEST or interaction and availability of seats in the concerned class.

SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE THE FEE PAYMENT WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE DECLARATION OF THE RESULT. LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

  • Evidence of having graduated from previous class.
  • 4 photographs of the student
  • 2 photographs of the parents
  • Original TC from the previous school. (For students seeking admission from class 1 onwards)
  • Proof of residence
  • Adhaar Card

Test / Interview:

  • The registered candidates are called for an admission test/interview.
  • For admission to different classes, test are conducted as per the syllabus of the last class passed.
  • No written or oral test for admission in L.K.G. Random selection procedure is taken up.

School Timing:

  • Summer Session: 7:00am to 01:00 pm.
  • Winter Session: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Identity Card: An identity card, with a passport size photograph and the residential address of the student, is issued. This identity card should be borne by each student in school. Premises all the time.

School Uniform:

  • Summer (boys) : white shirt, dark brown (coffee colour) half pants/trousers, brown socks and black school shoes.
  • For (girl) : white blouse dark brown (coffee colour) tunic /pleated skirt, brown socks and black 'ballet' shoes.
  • Winter: plain knit, v-neckwooler, pull over of maroon colour for all.

P.T. Dress: - White half sleeved shirt and white half pant's(for boys)/skirt(for girls) white canvas P.T. shoes and white socks. Head Dress: White hair bands and maroon scarves (in winter)for girls, Sikh boys can wear white patka.

Belt: - The school belt is an essential part of the student’s uniform. The belt will be provided by the school.

Morning Assembly: - Each working day in starts with the morning assembly marked with the recitation of Vedic Manners, Devotional songs and Shanti path. Student deliver rhymes, speech, new and thought for the day from the Dias during Assembly. The assembly disperses with singing of the National Anthem.

Academic: - School implements the Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and other educational reforms designed and incorporated by CBSE to fulfill the objective of Formative and Summative Evaluation.

A dedicated team of qualified teachers guides and nurtures the children. Individual care, coaching and regular effort is a part of the teaching environment. Learning is joy modern teaching-methods/technique including demonstration, experimentations, project work, assignment, play-way, structural method etc. education is child centered and signing, mimicry, playing dramatization etc. are part of holistic teaching/learning. 91-100=A181-90=A271-80=B1
61-70 =B251-60 =c141-50=c2
33-40 = D21-32 =E100-20 =E2

To be promoted to the next class, minimum of D grade in all subject and 75%of attendance is necessary.

Attendance:

  • 75% attendance is essential for promotion to the next higher class.
  • No leave will be granted except on prior application to the principle.
  • In case of illness, medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner has to be submitted.
  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained leave for six consecutive days renders the student liable to have his name struck of the rolls.
  • It is compulsory for a student to attend the school on the day before and the day after the summer vacation, the puja vacation and the winter vacation.

Guidelines for the students:

  • All the students must possess the school diary, text books, note books, stationary etc. as per the need and instructions give.
  • Students must not bring valuables to the school. The school will not be responsible for the loss of any such article.
  • School bus user must strictly observe the rules of the school transport.
  • Leave-applications must be submitted a day in advance. It should be counter signed by the parent/guardian.
  • Students must come in proper school uniform.
  • The school dress should be neat, clean and tidy.
  • Students should obey the house captain and other students on duty.
  • Students should be regular in their attendance.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during working hours unless the parents/guardians whose signature is on the admission form and the school diary, comes in person.
  • School identity cards must be with the students on all working days.
  • Mobile phones are strictly banned in school premises. If a mobile phone is found with a student, the student phone will be confiscated.
  • Any damaged caused to the right of stern action against the students will have to be borne by the his/her parent/ guardians.
  • School reserve the right of stern action against the students who are found guilty of misconduct. This may amount to even striking their names off the rolls.
Note:
  • 25%seats are reserved for talented weaker sections of the society in new admission only.
  • The birth certificate obtained from a competent authority and the transfer certificate obtain from the Previous school, are necessary for admission.
  • Fees have to deposit within seven days of selection, failing which the seat will be allotted to the next waiting candidate.
  • Children seeking admission in LKG should have completed the age of 4years as on the 1st April of that year.

Parent's-Teacher's Meeting: - In order to establish a meaningful relationship between the school and the parents, meetings are held after every test/evaluation to discuss the progress of each and every student and accordingly Special and remedial classes are arranged.

Personal File: - The school maintains an individual file for each of its pupils in order to have a systematic record of his/her academic as well as co-curricular progress and achievements. The profile is maintained and updated systematically fulfilling the instructions given in the scheme of CCE.

Co-scholastic Activities:

  • House System: - To create an atmosphere of healthy competition and team Spirit most of the school activities are governed by a house system having four houses. Inter-house Quiz Competitions are held regularly under the house flags. Inter-house quiz Competitions and plantation Programs are organized to raise awareness of the importance of a healthy environment.
  • Nurturing the latent talent: - We expose the children to hobbies like reading, sketching, singing dancing and gardening and ensure that discipline becomes a second nature of the child. Children with similar interests and inclinations are grouped together and then the teacher help them to nurse and cultivate their talents. They are also trained in yoga, martial and music by experts.
  • Educational tours: - The school picnics and educational tours for its students. Student-group are taken to historical places, museum, factories, research institutions etc. to make them familiar with the surrounding they live in.
  • Games & Sports: - To develop a sound health and the qualities of leadership and sportsman spirit children take part in different inter House, Inter School, Zonal and national level Sports and games activities. Besides, Trekking and adventurous expeditions are also arranged for the students of the Institution.
  • Value Education :- Keeping in view the ideology of the Vedas Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah and following the message and path of Maharshi Dayanand Help all and love all and carrying out the committed mission of Mahatma N.D. Grover the children along with their teachers dedicated their resources to impart basic education to the children from weaker section of the society. Books and stationaries are also distributed among the poor students. The Institution also engaged itself in the task of lending support to different charitable trusts. Performing Hawans, Participation in Vedic Initiation Camps and Zonal Youth Festival are mandatory for the children to develop a sound ethical and spiritual base of life./li>

Guidelines for the Parent’s:

Please:

  • Use the school diary as a means of communication with the class teacher and check the diary regularly for home work and the teacher's remarks, if any.
  • Sign the test copies/papers as and when sent home.
  • Ensure that your ward has all the text books, items of stationary, craft materials etc. right in the beginning of the session.
  • Ensure that all the books and note books are covered with brown paper.
  • Ensure that your wards come school in proper uniform with polished shoes, trimmed hair and clean nails.
  • Send the children regularly and punctually to school. No absence is permitted without written application.
  • Late comers will not be allowed to sit in the class.
  • Pay the fees as per schedule.
  • Both the parents must attend the parents-Teacher's meetings.
  • Intimate the school in case of any change in address or telephone number etc.
Please:
  • Do not send the child to school in case of an infectious disease and a medical certificate should be furnished from a medical authority at the time of rejoining the school after such an illness.
  • Do not walk in to the class rooms. Please see the teachers with prior appointment through the principle.
  • Do not send money or any valuable article with your ward.
